My name is Jessica Kuhn, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Fort Collins. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After several years of soul-searching, I began my path to becoming a therapist. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I spent over a year working at OneLegacy, a Donate Life organization, in Los Angeles providing grief therapy to the families of deceased organ and tissue donors. After OneLegacy, I began working for a low-cost counseling center in Culver City, California, providing low-fee therapy to a wide variety of clients. I currently live in Colorado and enjoy working with a diverse clientele here as well. I specialize in grief work, but enjoy couples counseling and working with college-age adults. I have experience with transitional problems, sexual abuse/assault survivors, grief and loss, trauma, and a wide variety of other topics.
I was previously a student/intern member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and am a current member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I enjoy creating a professional relationship with my clients, and I offer a strength-based practice. I believe people are capable of change, and I strive to provide a comfortable environment to foster growth.
